Who we are
North Quant Solutions Inc. is a Canadian company. We build, host and run custom AI automations for businesses. This policy explains how we handle personal information. We follow Canada's private sector privacy law, the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
What we collect
- What you send us. Your name, email address, company and anything you write to us or tell us on a call.
- Booking details. When you book a call, your name, email address and the time you pick.
- Work material. If you become a client, the files, information and access you give us so we can do the work.
- Site analytics, if turned on. Basic counts of visits to this site, such as which pages were viewed and the type of device. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not use analytics to identify you.
Why we use it
We use personal information to reply to you, to set up and hold calls, to build and run the automations you ask for, to send invoices, and to meet our legal duties. We do not sell it. We do not use it to train anyone's AI model.
Where it is stored
We use established cloud providers for email, calendars, video calls and file storage. Some of them store data in Canada. Others may store it in other countries, such as the United States, where it can be subject to the laws of that country.
When a client's work calls for it, we store and process that client's work material in Canada, as agreed with that client.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers we need to run the business, such as email, calendar and video call services, file storage, hosting, invoicing and payments. Each one gets only what it needs to do its part, and must protect it. We may also share information when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the reason we collected it, plus any time the law requires, for example for tax records. Client work material is returned or deleted when the client asks, and in any case within the time set in our agreement with that client.
How we protect it
We use safeguards that fit how sensitive the information is, and we limit access to the people and systems that need it to do the work.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and withdraw your consent to how we use it, subject to legal or contract limits. Write to [email protected]. We will answer within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top.
